New Features

PCR Education module

PROMIS 4 > Patient Overview > Post COVID-19 > PCR – Education

The Post-COVID Recovery program is providing education sessions for patients, hosted at the Health Authority level. A new module in PROMIS enables PCR Clinics to track and monitor patient attendance.

• PCR – Education Summary: A PCR Education Summary screen displays the patient’s education history.

• Post-COVID Recovery Education: Patient education entries can be added, modified or deleted for PCR patients.

Island Health PCR Clinic

PROMIS 4 > Patient Overview > Patient Info > Program Registration

• New Island Health PCR Clinic: Island Health PCR Clinic has been added to the list of management centres.

CST Cerner Interface – BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital 

• BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital patient information and scheduling interface from CST Cerner to PROMIS. (in preparation for C&W Cerner go-live February 25th)
• For details on which fields are transmitted to PROMIS via this interface, please refer to the PROMIS Cerner Integration FAQ (on the PROMIS Portal)

Improvements 

Default PCR Baseline Questionnaire

PROMIS 4 > Patient Overview > Post COVID-19 > Questionnaire > Post COVID-19 Questionnaire Summary > Add Follow-Up

• PCR Questionnaire: If a Follow-Up Questionnaire is received via interface for a patient without an initial Baseline Questionnaire, a default PCR Baseline Questionnaire will be created in PROMIS to allow a Follow-Up questionnaire to be processed.

Kidney Transplant Referral form: mandatory labs update

PROMIS Classic > Transplant > Kidney Referral > Referral Form

• Kidney Transplant Referral – mandatory labs update for RPR or AB EIA: The Kidney Referral Form will now accept either Treponema Pall AB EIA or Rapid Plasma Reagin (Syphilis) as a requirement for the referral submission. (In production as of Dec 17th, 2021)

PROMIS 4 > Patient Lists > Kidney Transplant Tracking Sheet

• The Kidney Transplant Tracking Sheet includes and displays the mandatory labs.

PCR Questionnaire Details

PROMIS 4 > Patient Overview > Post COVID-19 > Questionnaire > Questionnaire Details

• SUPPORT-20546: Duplicate values in PCR Questionnaire module: The PCR Questionnaire details no longer displays duplicate results and fields.
• PCR questionnaire will display ‘Not applicable’ as a zero value in the cough section, when questionnaire received through interface.

PCR Population Report

PROMIS 4 > Reports > COVID-19 > PCR Population

• In the PCR Population report, the “Declined Referrals” count includes declined referrals as of the day of deactivation date.  

Post-COVID Recovery Patient List Report

PROMIS 4 > Reports > COVID-19 > Post-COVID Recovery Patient List Report

• The deactivation reason displayed in the report matches a patient’s deactivation record. 

Vascular Access – Access Status update

PROMIS 4 > Patient Overview > Renal > Dialysis Access > Add VA Referral In the VA Add Referral modal, when Procedure field selected is Echocardiogram, the Access Status field will include the option of ‘In Use Dysfunctional’.
