PROMIS 4.17 – Release Date Change

The PROMIS team is preparing for our next release PROMIS 4.17, scheduled for Thursday, February 23rd, with an outage starting at 20:00 for approximately 2 hours. While PROMIS release outages are typically scheduled on a Sunday evening to minimize disruption to users, this release must be coordinated with a Canadian Blood Services release occurring on February 23rd. We apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this mid-week outage.

Updates to Transplant Functionality in PROMIS

The focus of this release are significant updates to Transplant functionality in PROMIS including the following:
Inter Provincial Organ Sharing of High-Status Hearts (IPOS HSH) – As part of a national initiative, new functionality will be introduced to PROMIS and the Canadian Transplant Registry (CTR) in order to allocate hearts interprovincially for sensitized (≥80% cPRA) and/or medically urgent (status 4) patients.

New Transplant Vaccination Status Report – Displays immunization status for required and recommended vaccines, and can be run for Pre or Post transplant patients.

Willing to Cross Values – Histotrac values now displayed in PROMIS 4.

This release will also include the following updates:

Clinical Trials Module – Available in PROMIS 4, retired in Classic.
HHD Assessment Water Source – Capture and view HHD patients’ water source in patient demographics
Emergency Management Module – Minor updates to Occupancy Table and Facility Report
HD Prescriptions – VPP Cerner HD prescriptions autoloaded and displayed in PROMIS

Reporting Changes :

New HD Catheter Reason Incident Report – Displays the access used for a patient’s 1st run as a chronic HD patient
Updated: Medication Profile Report – Now highlights drugs that are identified as Hazardous Drug Group 1 or Hazardous Drug Group 2 as noted on the BC Hazardous Drugs List.
